Garland ISD Education Foundation
This foundation was established to support the students and staff of the Garland Independent School District, which encompasses the north Texas communities of Garland, Rowlett, and Sachse. The foundation is overseen by a 17-member Board of Directors, comprised of a cross-section of the communities served by the Garland ISD. The foundation operates independently, but in cooperation, with the district.

The Prize Posse visited teachers at 29 campuses to celebrate grants received. Over 20k in teacher grants was awarded this spring allowing recipients to implement special programs in their classrooms.
